Presentation practice
Open–body–close with signposts, one takeaway — and the Q&A you can’t rehearse.
The talk
Two things audiences actually need: signposts (always knowing where they are in your talk) and one takeaway they can repeat. The diagnosis checks both — a detail-dump with no signposts is the most common failure.
The Q&A — the real fear
You can rehearse slides; you can't rehearse questions. After every talk here, an audience member asks one — spoken aloud, about your actual content. Understanding the question is part of the drill; that's the part presenters fear most.
