Terms of service
Last updated 23 August 2026
SpeakSharp is operated by K Learning, 213–700 Marine Drive, North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Using the service means agreeing to what follows. If you are using it on behalf of a school or agency, you are agreeing on their behalf too.
What this is
A practice tool. You record an answer to an interview, speech, or presentation prompt, and get back a diagnosis of how you said it, a follow-up question, and something to drill.
The scores are estimates to practise against. They are not an official band, not a qualification, and not a prediction of any result. Nobody who decides your admission or your job offer sees them. We do not claim a percentage of accuracy, and you should not treat a number here as one.
We coach the person practising, and only that person. We do not sell candidate assessments to employers or schools, and we do not offer real-time help during an actual interview.
Accounts and practice links
An account holder — a parent, a coach, a school, an agency — signs in, adds students, and gets a personal practice link for each one. That link is the student’s identity: anyone holding it can practise as that student and spend that student’s credits. Send it to the student and to nobody else. If it goes astray, reset it from the account screen; the old link stops working immediately.
Account holders are responsible for what happens under their account, including keeping their sign-in to themselves.
Credits
- ▸ One credit is one scored report. A full mock interview scores several answers and costs one credit for each.
- ▸ Re-recording the same question is free twice a day, and the microphone check is always free.
- ▸ A run that fails costs nothing — if a report is not produced, the credit is returned.
- ▸ Credits do not expire.
- ▸ Prices are in US dollars. Bigger blocks cost less per credit; the starter block is once per account.
- ▸ Deleting a student destroys any credits sitting with them. The account screen offers to move those credits back first — take it.
Unused credits are refundable within 30 days of purchase, less any already spent. Write to Daniel.kim@ivypath.ai.
Students under 18
A student under 18 may only be added by their parent or guardian, or by someone who has that person’s consent. If you add a minor, you are confirming you have it. See the privacy page for what is recorded, what is kept, and for how long.
Fair use
Please don’t:
- ▸ share a practice link beyond the student it belongs to
- ▸ automate the service, scrape it, or run it in a loop
- ▸ upload a recording of someone who has not agreed to be recorded
- ▸ resell access, or present the reports as an official assessment
We may suspend an account or a link that does any of these. If we do, we will say why and refund unused credits.
The material in the practice rooms
The questions, rubrics, and coaching are ours. Practise with them freely; don’t republish them or build a competing product out of them. What you record and what you write stays yours — we use it only to produce your reports and run the service.
Availability
The service depends on outside providers and will sometimes be slow or unavailable. It is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will suit a particular purpose or be uninterrupted. Where the law allows us to limit what we owe you if something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before it did. Nothing here limits liability the law does not permit us to limit.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of British Columbia have jurisdiction.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, the date at the top changes and account holders are told by email before it takes effect.
